“It’s really simple. Before, I couldn’t really pick this stuff up. I can actually go and make myself a sandwich. I can put a knife in my right hand. I couldn’t do that before.”— Jan, retired US Army Veteran

0:07 | I was in the gym doing leg presses and my left leg was steady but my right leg was shaking and I couldn’t understand that so I went to the doctor and he said I had essential tremors. Uhm he asked if my parents had it and I said I didn’t know because it’d been a long time since I’ve been back home, so shortly thereafter, I called my parents. Sure enough, my dad had a tremor and I never knew it. I noticed he always used two hands to drink a glass of water, but I never really put together why that was. Using the Cala Trio has a significant effect on how your day goes. When I first heard about it uhm and I thought this would be a terrific uh thing if it worked because it was non-invasive. Uhm I had tried medications uh I think four or five of them over time and either the side effects uh were something that I really couldn’t tolerate or they would lose their effectiveness after time and s-so that wasn’t working. I didn’t want to go the brain surgery route unless I-it were desperate uhm so I thought, well, this is great. Uh very first session was uh was very interesting. I noticed how easy it was to eat so I could hold things with a fork and didn’t have any trouble eating. I thought oh this is great, so I texted my wife and then to tell her what my experience was and when it was well I think how easy it is to text because you only hit a letter one time- you don’t hit two, sometimes three. You hit the right letter and so it’s-it’s all of a sudden texting is very easy. So uh after I texted her that I still remember I held up my hand. So this is what it’s like to feel normal. |

0:08 | I remember my husband and I were at brunch and I really had difficulty with tea; holding the cup, and I was really surprised and I had actually had to ask him to hold the cup while I drank the tea and I felt very embarrassed about that. |
0:25 | I realized that my tremor really isn’t as bad as some of the others that I’ve seen and I don’t take medication so under the circumstances I do pretty well most of the time and then there are those times that-that it’s-it’s just really difficult. |
0:47 | I was introduced to the Cala Trio at a support group meeting and at that time I was looking for something that could possibly help without me taking medication and so I volunteered. I had good results of my early therapy. I thought that I initially did not have good results because my tremor really wasn’t as severe as others I’ve seen and so I was looking for zero tremor *laughs* and oh - I’d still have tremor but in many cases, it was not as big when I look at the results of my testing, the before and the after, I could see where the Cala uhm Trio has really improved the tremor but I haven’t had it for a while so you know of what I noticed also was when I did not use the uh watch uh, my tremor was more severe. |
1:53 | The Cala Trio has really impacted my life in a positive way. I am able to see results when I do the pretest and the post-test, the before and the after results. Towards the end of the uhm trial, I hardly had a tremor, so I am anxious to be able to get the Cala Trio to be able to use it on an ongoing basis. |

0:08 | So I actually, I have a familial tremor so it's something that runs in my family so uhm from the time I was probably 10 or 12 years old was the first time that I noticed it and uhm through the years it's just become uhm progressively worse. After I had my first treatment with the Cala Trio. I was actually amazed at the results… uhm things that were difficult for me to do uh became easier and manageable and I was really impressed. I noticed that even after the therapy, an hour two hours after the therapy, I was still seeing the results I would pick up a, you know, a glass of water and what normally would have shaking up towards my face was-was pretty study so I was surprised at how well it continued to last after a few hours after my treatment. |

1:12 | The Cala Trio definitely helped me feel more confident, you know, right after a session. I was, you know, steady. My hands were steady. I was able to do things that I'm not normally able to do and uhm I could do those things with ease and that definitely made me feel more confident, less insecure about myself and about my tremors. |

I would always start my therapy with the Cala Trio in the morning when I first woke up. I would get my kids off to school so I prepare lunches and everything while using it ... All those day to day tasks that I struggled with I was able to complete thanks to the Cala Trio.

0:07 | It’s embarrassing. It’s totally embarrassing. You’re shaking. You can’t do anything. You try to brush your teeth, that’s the funniest part, and water-picking is even funnier than that because, you know, you hit the whole bathroom. My name is Sylvia and I’m 73 years old and I’ve had essential tremors for over 30 years. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I played on the Virginia Slims professional tennis tour and then I moved to Las Vegas and I play a lot of golf and swim and just have fun. |
0:47 | I really noticed it about five years ago. A safe deposit box, you know how you go in and you got to sign each time, and I could see the difference in the signatures as the years went on. It’s annoying! It’s so annoying and someday in the beginning there were even tears. I couldn’t believe it. You can’t button your shirt. You can’t put your jewelry on. I told everybody I was going to quit playing because I couldn’t putt. You can’t do anything. If affects your whole life. |
1:22 | I went to a doctor and they put me on this medication. Then they said, well, take two a day. Then I got up to taking two four times a day and this is what was recommended. The doctor says this is all we have. And I’m thinking if this is all you have so I may as well shake. I’m shaking anyway so why should I take medication that makes me feel like a zombie. Those tremors will bring you down. They’ll bring you down. In my desperation I decided to look into the deep brain stimulation, and I didn’t qualify for that one so they just suggested the deep brain stimulation where they put the holes in your head. I just can’t do it. I’m scared to death. The people working with Cala Trio have done quite a service for those of us who are suffering from essential tremors. Cala Trio came along and I’m loving it. I can stimulate for 40 minutes. It allows me to play golf, it always be to eat, it allows me to do things with one hand a lot of the times rather than with two. Cala Trio, as I’ve said, it’s not going to stop the tremors but it makes you do things that you couldn’t do. Cala Trio makes life a lot better it’s a life changer. Go tell your doctor about it. And tell him or her you would like to try it. Tell the doctor what you want and ask for Cala Trio. |
